Fall is about here!
As we enter September, the weather cools down, families have settled into their new school schedules, activities have been though of and some even signed up for so let’s talk about some great activities and opportunities coming up.
September 4
BACK TO FULL DOBAKS
Everyone must wear full dobaks to class.
September 9
LADIES’ SELF-DEFENSE CLASS AT 10AM
These classes are open to any ladies ages 12 and up. You do not need to be a Choi Kwang Do Student and you are welcome to bring friends and family members with you. Cost is $5 for ACKD students, $10 for Non-ACKD students
CROCHET / KNITTING MINISTRY MEETING AT 11AM
This ministry is open to anyone student or non-student who either crochets or knits (or would like to learn how) and in interested in helping and serving those in our community that could benefit from items made. We are currently working on items to be given out to Chemotherapy patients (shawls, hats, lapghans). We also are collecting warming items (hats, scarves, blankets, etc) that will be given out this fall and winter season to the homeless in our community.

BLACK BELT TESTING AT HEADQUARTERS AT 4PM
Miss Sydney Baker will be testing for EE Dan (2nd Degree)
Mrs. Becky Grande will be testing for IL Dan (1st Degree)
October 7

LEADERSHIP TRAINING
We will be looking at scheduling an Instructor Meeting / Training at ACKD in the month of October. Be on the lookout for dates and times.
We will also be scheduling a Leadership Class for STORM TEAM and BLACK BELT CLUB members in October. Be on the lookout for dates and times.
Currently we are looking at either Saturday October 21 or 28 for both of these meetings. Please let me know if either or both would work for you and if morning or afternoon would be better.
